I need a friend

We played many games
We grew up together
Shared dirty jokes
And poked our teacher.

We bunked our classes
To watch latest flicks
We had great time
They called us 'freaks'.

We were like soul mates
Made for each other
A 'damn it' attitude
Never would we bother.

Dunno when I became too old
My fingers got wrinkles
Gray became hair
All of sudden, I found myself unwanted.

They all became fathers
Some good husbands
Few left our town
To settle far from here.

I don't see 'em anymore
They are out of sight
I am afraid my memory
Is getting frail very fast.

I want to laugh once more
I just need a friend
To play some pranks
And sob together.

Am not sure
Who will be sad if I die
If somebody will miss me?
Who knows !!!
